A - CONTROL SOCKET  (Standard 3-Prong Wall Socket)
This standard 3-prong socket will accept most any 3 prong control for quick-n-easy control customization.  Many "outlet" control devices are readily available at home improvement stores, big brand stores and the internet.

B - CONTROL PLUG (Standard 2-Prong Plug)
This standard 2 prong plug, plugs-in to whatever control device is plugged into (A) interchangeable control socket.  Plugging (B) directly into (A) without any control device enables the RedyTemp to operate 24 hours a day cycling on and off as needed to maintain the temperature set at (D).

C - ON-DEMAND MODE / ANYTIME SINGLE-CYCLE OVERRIDE (RJ11 standard phone jack)
Allows for easy integration of on-demand single-cycle operation / convenient anytime override.  "Single-cycle" meaning the unit will run until the water temperature in the hot water line equals the homeowners chosen setpoint on the temperature adjustment dial.  Simply cut one end off of a standard phone cord and connect the two middle wires to a doorbell button or momentary contact switch and plug the opposite end into the RJ11 jack.   Very convenient for middle of the night or any time the system is in scheduled-off mode.  This engineering makes installing multiple push-buttons throughout a home by using a 5-to-1 modular phone adapter available at home improvement / electronics / 99 cent stores. 

D - TEMPERATURE ADJUSTMENT
Allows homeowner to control / optimize their homes hot water comfort to their just-right temperature.  People have unique hot water standards, this "have-it-your-way" feature is essential to delivering efficient hot water at the homeowners expectations.  Thus, allowing a homeowner to maximize their hot water comfort without loosing control of their cold water comfort.  Loss of cold water comfort / excess pumping is easily correctable by turning the dial counter clockwise just a hair. Thereby, preventing the over pumping which caused the loss of cold water comfort.  This fine tuning of the temperature setpoint ensures maximum comfort, savings and readiness.  RedyTemp's full range of temperature choices and extremely accurate half-a-degree incremental adjustment capabilities offers the homeowner the means of preventing their homes water pipes from freezing during frigid outdoor temperatures. 

E - HOT WATER SUPPLY CONNECTION 1/2" connection

Disconnect "the faucet end" of existing hose (typically 1/2" industry standard) and connect to port

F - HOT WATER FAUCET CONNECTION 1/2" connection
Using one of the hoses shipped with system connect one end to port and the other end to industry standard 1/2" faucet connection.

G - COLD WATER SUPPLY CONNECTION 1/2" connection

Disconnect "the faucet end" of existing hose (typically 1/2" industry standard) and connect to port

H - COLD WATER FAUCET CONNECTION 1/2" connection

Using one of the hoses shipped with system connect one end to port and the other end to industry standard 1/2" faucet connection.

OPEN LOOP SYSTEM (uses cold water line as return line)  and CLOSED LOOP SYSTEM (when a dedicated hot water return line exists in the home)

EASILY SWAPPED-OUT INSTEAD OF USING TIMER (WIRELESS WALL SWITCH, VOICE, etc.)

RedyTemp is designed for quick and easy plug-n-play control customization.  Most any outlet controlling device can be swapped out with the digital timer to achieve unique style of operation .  The outlet control devices shown above are examples of the countless types on the market.   These were all found on the internet, priced less than $20 each and typically available in big brand stores and home improvement centers. 

ON-DEMAND OPERATION USING RJ11 PHONE JACK

The RJ11 phone jack "C" on the control box allows for on-demand / push-button "single cycle" operation.  If used with a timer, push-button will act as an override adding additional convenience to a families lifestyle.  Wiring additional rooms with push-buttons is simple using a 3 to 1 or larger phone adapter as indicated in the below illustration identified as components "F" and "G".  Using any standard phone cord, simply cut one end off of the phone cord, strip the two middle wires and connect to any non-illuminating doorbell button or momentary contact switch.  Plug the opposite end of the phone cord into the RJ11 jack.  Anytime the button is pressed the system will run until the temperature setpoint is satisfied and then stop.  The system will not run again unless either the timer schedules operation or the button is pressed again.

F = Multi-Phone Adapter;  easy / cost efficient expansion of wired push-buttons
G = Standard Door Bell Button; any momentary contact button or switch. 

         Note: RJ11 contacts do not contain electricity, activation is by closing circuit / momentary contact

FOR EASY MULTIPLE ACTIVATION POINTS FROM ANYWHERE IN HOME

For multiple wireless activation points throughout a home the homeowner would need to acquire the above X10 products of their choice.  We do not stock these items but they are easy to find on the internet and affordable.  Simply search the modules name and model number shown in the diagrams and listed below.  "B" is a Transceiver Module it "transmits" on-commands by using the homes wiring system to cause  Module "C" to momentarily cause the phone wires to make contact.  Only one (1) module "C" is needed at the pumps location.  The prongs on module "C" are on the back near the top and do not block usage of the second wall outlet.  For multiple wireless activation points you need two components at each  location. 

Push-button operation requires one "E" and one "B" at each remote location

E = Wireless Remote KR22A;  Push-button wireless remote, easily mounts using velcro strip or magnet.
B = Transceiver Module TM751; Relay's on-command using the homes electrical wiring to activate "C".

Motion activated operation requires one "D" and one "B" at each remote location

D = Motion Sensor MS16A;  uses AAA batteries (battery life 1 year) place facing toilet / stall or other direction require a passing hand to activate.
B = Transceiver Module TM751;  Relay's on-command using the homes electrical wiring to activate "C".

In the above diagrams the user would push the button on "E" or activate motion sensor "D".  The signal is received by "B" and transmitted to "C" through the homes existing electrical wires.  Power line Command technology is not limited like most wireless devices which have limitations in range or obstructions, so you never experience problems of being too far away or line-of-sight issues experienced with other on-demand hot water circulators.
