A - CONTROL DEVICE PLUG-IN SOCKET
(Standard 3-Prong Wall Socket)
This standard 3-prong socket
will accept most any 3 prong control desired by the homeowner for quick-n-easy
control customization. See examples below. RedyTemp ships with a
7-day timer not shown in the above picture. Many of these "outlet"
control devices are readily available at home improvement stores, big brand
stores and the internet. Simply search / ask for appliance outlet control
devices.

B - CONTROL ENABLER PLUG (Standard
2-Prong Plug)
This standard 2 prong plug, plugs-in to whatever control
device is plugged into (A) interchangeable control socket. Plugging (B)
directly into (A) without any control device enables the RedyTemp to operate 24
hours a day cycling on and off as needed to maintain the temperature set at (D).
C - ON-DEMAND / ANYTIME
SINGLE-CYCLE OVERRIDE CONNECTION RJ11 STANDARD
PHONE JACK.
Allows for easy installation of a simple non-illuminating
doorbell button (available at home improvement stores at
around $2.00) or other momentary contact switch
that best matches a rooms decor. Simply splice and connect the doorbell
button or switch into one end of a standard phone cords middle two wires and
plug the other end into the RJ11 jack. This switch gives the homeowner the means
to "single-cycle" override the control / timer for use during scheduled-off time
periods. Additionally, this also enables the homeowner to operate their
circulation system in an "On-Demand" push-button mode. Multiple
push-buttons can be easily installed throughout the home by simply using a
5-plug modular phone adapter which are easily available at home improvement /
electronics / 99 cent stores.
D - TEMPERATURE ADJUSTMENT DIAL.
Allows the homeowner to control / optimize their hot
water comfort to their desired temperature. As well, homeowners have the
ability to prevent pipes from freezing by using RedyTemp's lower temp
settings if desired. Range is from 50F to 115F. With people having unique
comfort standards for hot water, this have-it-your-way feature makes the
RedyTemp a win win solution.. Allowing a homeowner to maximize their hot water
comfort without loosing control of their cold water comfort. If the
homeowner was to experience loss of cold water comfort, the homeowner need only
adjust the back down the temperature to a more optimal setting. Thereby,
preventing the over pumping which caused the loss of cold water comfort.
RedyTemp's extremely accurate half-a-degree incremental adjustment capability
ensures optimal comfort.
E - Hot Water Supply Connection. Easily connects to
homes existing hose at the Faucet End which is typically a industry
standard 1/2" connection. If access to the faucet
connections are not possible, connecting directly to the Supply Shut-Off valves
is possible by obtaining the appropriate ?/?" to 1/2" adapters which are readily
available at all hardware / home improvement stores for under a dollar.
F - Hot Water Faucet Connection 1/2" connection
G - Cold Water Supply Connection Easily connects to
homes existing hose at the Faucet End which is typically a industry
standard 1/2" connection. If access to the faucet
connections are not possible, connecting directly to the Supply Shut-Off valves
is possible by obtaining the appropriate ?/?" to 1/2" adapters which are readily
available at all hardware / home improvement stores for under a dollar.
H - Cold Water Faucet Connection 1/2" connection
OPEN LOOP (uses cold water line as return line) and CLOSED LOOP (dedicated hot water return line exists) installations.
RedyTemp operates on both open loop (shown below) and closed loop
water systems. On a closed loop system installation you cap-off the two
faucet connection ports and connect the RedyTemp to the loop using (E) for the
hot water supply (incoming) and (G) for the return (outgoing).
