TANK and TANKLESS HOT WATER CIRCULATOR

EASY 1 - 2 - 3 INSTALL

(Connect sinks HW hoses to E + F and CW hoses to G + H)

Today's, hot water circulators continuing to fall short, in one way or another of consumer expectations.  We identified the industries need for a system that could satisfy a range of unique comfort, control and convenience demanded by consumers. By placing comfort and efficiency as the primary focus  and utilizing over 20 years of combined experience in designing, testing and manufacturing of hot water circulators for commercial and residential applications, we  achieved our goals.  RedyTemp®'s proprietary controller offers homeowners "on-the-fly" temperature control of their homes hot water comfort while providing twice the convenience of any hot water circulators to ever hit the market. Consumers wanting hotter hot water instantly out their tap need only turn the temperature dial clockwise or counter clockwise to lower the temperature.  After only a few adjustments a homeowner will have optimized there hot water system to deliver the quickest and hottest possible hot water without the frustrations caused when cold water comfort is sacrificed.  Resulting in maximum comfort, convenience and water savings.

SYSTEM INSTALLATION

Homes with  NO DEDICATED hot water return line OPEN-LOOP uses CW line as return line

     TL4000N Small - Med size home Flow 1-14 gpm / 16' head

     TL5000N Med - Large size home Flow 1-28 gpm / 30' head

INSTALL TYPE

COMMON        Pump UNDER SINK connect as follows:

E and F - hot supply and hot faucet (interchangeable / either one)

H and G - cold supply or cold faucet (interchangeable / either one)

ALTERNATE      Pump AT WATER HEATER (SOLENOID and TEMP PROBE near sink)

Requires running 5 wires (2 = temp probe, 3 = solenoid 18 AWG) from control box to temperature probe and solenoid valve near sink.

In series connect (1) check valve, temperature probe and solenoid valve, install between hot and cold pipes near end of line.

Homes with  DEDICATED hot water return line CLOSED-LOOP uses existing HW loop

     TL4000D Sm - Med size home Flow 1-14 gpm / 16' head

     TL5000D Med - Large size home Flow 1-28 gpm / 30' head

Pump AT WATER HEATER drain spout (recommended, helps prevent sediment buildup in water heater)

Rotate pump head to achieve desired direction of flow into water heaters drain spout (tell us when placing order we'll do it for you, saving you time)

Connect flanges to hot water loop, include temperature probe.  (Unless relocating to last load on loop. RECOMMENDED for efficiency)

DESIGNED WITH EFFICIENCY BY DESIGN
Closed-Loop hot water circulation systems typically utilize a pump and thermostat installed at the end of the loop.  Requiring the whole loop be heated even though the last load on the loop is a good distance from the water heater.  RedyTemp®'s unique design allows for a more efficient operation by strategically locating the stainless steel water contacting temperature probe  near the last hot water load on the loop while still installing the pump at the water heater.  Thus, minimizing pump cyclic runtimes, demand placed on water heater and needless energy waste from heating pipes past the last hot water load on the loop.

LIMITLESS FLEXIBLE CONTROL

RedyTemp is designed for quick and easy plug-n-play control customization.  Most any outlet controlling device, including wireless ones, can be swapped out with the digital timer.  The outlet control devices shown in the below image were all found on the internet at a cost of less than $20 each and typically available in big brand stores and home improvement centers.

The RJ11 phone jack "C" on the front of RedyTemp's control box allows homeowners to easily adapt on-demand / push-button single cycle operations. to their lifestyle wire one or more push-buttons for single-cycle operations. Wiring additional rooms with push-buttons is simple using a 3 to 1 or larger phone adapter.  Using any standard phone cord, simply cut one end off of the phone cord.  Strip the two middle wires and connect to any non-illuminating doorbell button or momentary contact switch.  Plug the opposite end of the phone cord into the RJ11 jack.  Anytime the button is pressed the system will run until the temperature setpoint is satisfied and then stop.  The system will not run again unless either the timers scheduling causes operation or the button is pressed again.

In the above diagrams the user would push the button on "E" or activate motion sensor "D".  The signal is received by "B" and transmitted to "C" through the homes existing electrical wires.  Power line Command technology is not limited like most wireless devices which have limitations in range or obstructions, so you never experience problems of being too far away or line-of-sight issues experienced with other on-demand hot water circulators. To activate the system from the opposite end of the home simply add an additional Transceiver Module "B".

The above products can be found all over the internet and on X10.com website.  These plug-and-play (no programming required) wireless controls are favored by many RedyTemp owners.
