TANK and TANKLESS HOT WATER CIRCULATOR

EASY 1 - 2 - 3 INSTALL

(Connect sinks HW hoses to E + F and CW hoses to G + H)

Today's, hot water circulators often fall short, in one way or another of consumer expectations.  We identified the industries need for a system that would satisfy a range of unique lifestyles, comfort preferences, control options and conveniences consumers expect of today's appliances. By placing comfort and efficiency as the primary focus combined with over 20 years experience in designing, testing and manufacturing of hot water circulators for commercial and residential applications, we  achieved our goals.  RedyTemp®'s proprietary controller offers "on-the-fly" hot water comfort optimization and temperature control while also providing the consumer with twice the convenience of any hot water circulators to ever hit the market. Consumers wanting hotter hot water instantly out their tap need only turn the temperature dial clockwise or counter clockwise to lower the temperature and without having to first locate a screwdriver, flashlight or reference materials.  After only a few adjustments a homeowner will have optimized there hot water systems readiness without the frustrations caused when cold water comfort is sacrificed to hot water siphoning inefficiencies.  Resulting in a lifestyle of comfort, convenience and water savings unmatched to this day.

                        Rotate pump head to achieve desired direction of flow into water heaters drain spout (tell us when placing order we'll do it for you, saving you time)

                    Connect flanges to hot water loop, include temperature probe. (Unless relocating to last load on loop. RECOMMENDED for efficiency)

    ALTERNATE     Pump ELSEWHERE ON LOOP (for efficiency install probe just after last hot water load)

EFFICIENCY-BASED ENGINEERING

Closed-Loop hot water circulation systems typically utilize a pump and thermostat installed at the end of the loop.  Often resulting in needless energy consumption, additional demand on the water heater and longer then necessary pump operations.  RedyTemp®'s unique design offers significant savings by strategically locating the stainless steel water contacting temperature probe  near the last hot water load on the loop while still installing the pump at the water heater or other preferred location on the look.  Thus, minimizing pump cycle runtimes and an overall much more efficient system by not heating piping past the last hot water load on the loop.

LIMITLESS PLUG-N-PLAY CONTROL

EXAMPLES OF WIRELESS "OUTLET" CONTROL DEVICES ON THE MARKET

EASILY SWAPPED-OUT INSTEAD OF USING TIMER (WIRELESS WALL SWITCH, VOICE, etc.)

RedyTemp is designed for quick and easy plug-n-play control customization.  Most any outlet controlling device can be swapped out with the digital timer to achieve unique style of operation .  The outlet control devices shown above are examples of the countless types on the market.   These were all found on the internet, priced less than $20 each and typically available in big brand stores and home improvement centers.

ON-DEMAND OPERATION USING RJ11 PHONE JACK

The RJ11 phone jack "C" on the control box allows for on-demand / push-button "single cycle" operation.  If used with a timer, push-button will act as an override adding additional convenience to a families lifestyle.  Wiring additional rooms with push-buttons is simple using a 3 to 1 or larger phone adapter as indicated in the below illustration identified as components "F" and "G".  Using any standard phone cord, simply cut one end off of the phone cord, strip the two middle wires and connect to any non-illuminating doorbell button or momentary contact switch.  Plug the opposite end of the phone cord into the RJ11 jack.  Anytime the button is pressed the system will run until the temperature setpoint is satisfied and then stop.  The system will not run again unless either the timer schedules operation or the button is pressed again.

F = Multi-Phone Adaptereasy / cost efficient expansion of wired push-buttons
G = Standard Door Bell Button;
any momentary contact button or switch.

         Note: RJ11 contacts do not contain electricity, activation is by closing circuit / momentary contact

SUPERIOR WIRELESS USES HOUSEHOLD ELECTRICAL WIRES TO TRANSMIT SIGNALS

FOR EASY MULTIPLE ACTIVATION POINTS FROM ANYWHERE IN HOME

For multiple wireless activation points throughout a home the homeowner would need to acquire the above X10 products of their choice.  We do not stock these items but they are easy to find on the internet and affordable.  Simply search the modules name and model number shown in the diagrams and listed below.  "B" is a Transceiver Module it "transmits" on-commands by using the homes wiring system to cause  Module "C" to momentarily cause the phone wires to make contact.  Only one (1) module "C" is needed at the pumps location.  The prongs on module "C" are on the back near the top and do not block usage of the second wall outlet.  For multiple wireless activation points you need two components at each  location.

Push-button operation requires one "E" and one "B" at each remote location

E = Wireless Remote KR22A;  Push-button wireless remote, easily mounts using velcro strip or magnet.
B = Transceiver Module TM751;
Relay's on-command using the homes electrical wiring to activate "C".

Motion activated operation requires one "D" and one "B" at each remote location

D = Motion Sensor MS16A;  uses AAA batteries (battery life 1 year) place facing toilet / stall or other direction require a passing hand to activate.
B = Transceiver Module TM751;
Relay's on-command using the homes electrical wiring to activate "C".

In the above diagrams the user would push the button on "E" or activate motion sensor "D".  The signal is received by "B" and transmitted to "C" through the homes existing electrical wires.  Power line Command technology is not limited like most wireless devices which have limitations in range or obstructions, so you never experience problems of being too far away or line-of-sight issues experienced with other on-demand hot water circulators.

We do not stock or carry these items but are easily found all over the internet and on X10.com website.  These plug-and-play (no programming required) wireless controls are favored by many RedyTemp owners.

BELOW ARE TYPICAL PRICES WE FOUND ON THE INTERNET FOR THESE ITEMS (we do not carry these items):

Module "B"  =  TM751   = $8.99

Module "E" WIRELESS REMOTE =  KR22A   = 5 FOR $19.99

(place multiple push-buttons or sensors throughout home, i.e.  nightstand, kitchen, guest bath, etc.)

Module "C"  =  UM506   = $8.99

C = Universal Module UM506
Provides momentary contact to RJ11.   Replacing timer for on-demand only operations.  Or, plug into wall socket leaving digital timer plugged into control box provides wireless "single-cycle" scheduled-off override.  Timer-based hot water convenience remains set, very convenient for users with flexible work schedules or who travel frequently.
